Depart from downtown Hanoi for a scenic drive south, passing by lush countryside landscapes. Our first destination is Hoa Lu, the first capital of Vietnam in the 10th century. Step back in time as you visit the ancient temples of King Dinh and King Le, where history and legend intertwine.
Embark on a peaceful boat trip rowed by locals through a UNESCO World Heritage landscape. You will have the choice between two stunning locations:
will be served at a local restaurant, featuring specialties such as goat meat and mountain herbs. After lunch, immerse yourself in the idyllic countryside with a gentle cycling tour. Pass by lush rice paddies, watch water buffalo graze, and wave to friendly locals in traditional villages. Our final challenge of the day is a climb up Mua Cave Mountain. Ascend nearly 500 stone steps to the summit, where you will be rewarded with sweeping, unforgettable views of the Tam Coc valley and the winding Ngo Dong River below.
A delicious Dinner will be served before you check into your eco-lodge or boutique hotel, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Ninh Binh.
Awake to the peaceful sounds of nature and enjoy Breakfast at your lodge.
Our first visit today is to Van Long Nature Reserve, often called the “preserved nature bay.” Take a bamboo boat ride across calm waters where limestone karsts reflect like a mirror.
This is a serene and beautiful experience.
Keep an eye out for rare Delacour's langurs and the diverse bird species that call this protected wetland home. After the boat trip, we will explore a traditional village nearby.
You can visit a local market and perhaps join a simple handicraft activity with villagers, offering a deeper connection to the local way of life.
Lunch will be served at a countryside restaurant. After lunch, we begin our return journey to Hanoi.
Admire the rural charm of the Red River Delta one last time as we travel back to the capital.
You will arrive in downtown Hanoi by late afternoon, carrying unforgettable memories of Vietnam’s “inland paradise.”
