Depart from downtown Hanoi by comfortable bus, journeying through winding mountain roads and picturesque landscapes. Watch as the scenery transforms from the flat plains of the Red River Delta to the rolling hills and cloud-covered peaks of the Tonkinese Alps.
Upon arrival in Sapa, you will enjoy Lunch at a local restaurant. After your meal, we begin our discovery with a visit to Cat Cat Village, a charming valley settlement of the Black Hmong people. Walk past traditional wooden houses, listen to the soothing sounds of the nearby waterfall, and witness local artisans demonstrating traditional weaving and handicrafts. It's a perfect, gentle introduction to the culture of the region.
Return to Sapa town as the evening sets in. Take a leisurely stroll around the iconic stone church and the colorful market, where local people in their vibrant traditional attire sell beautiful brocades and handmade souvenirs. A delicious Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before you check into your hotel for the night.
Wake up to the crisp mountain air and enjoy Breakfast with panoramic views. After breakfast, we set off for a half-day trek through some of the most beautiful valleys in Sapa. Trek down into the valley to discover the villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van. Surrounded by stunning, cascading terraced rice fields, you will learn about the daily life of the local ethnic groups:
You will be welcomed into a local home in Ta Van village for a simple, yet authentic Lunch. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with a local family and taste true, home-cooked highland cuisine. Afterward, we return to Sapa town to relax before boarding the bus for your journey back to Hanoi. Take in the last views of the misty mountains fading into the horizon as you travel.
