Around 07:30 - 07:45: Your guide will pick you up from downtown Ho Chi Minh City to begin your journey south.
As we leave the city behind, watch the scenery transform into the endless green rice fields of the Mekong Delta.
Our first stop is the magnificent Vinh Trang Pagoda in My Tho. Explore one of the most beautiful, ancient, and significant temples in the region, a stunning blend of architectural styles.
Next, your trip continues with a motorized boat trip on the Tien River, cruising to the beautiful islets known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Qui.
Walk into a local village, where you can visit a fruit garden and enjoy fresh tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music.
Afterward, experience a highlight of the Mekong Delta. Board a hand-rowed sampan for a peaceful ride through a small canal, fully covered by the cool shade of water coconut palms.
The boat then cruises to Ben Tre province, famously known as "The Land of Coconuts."
Here you’ll visit a coconut candy-making shop to see how local products are made and taste the fresh, sweet candy.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After your meal, you will have time to relax in a hammock or take a leisurely bike ride around the village.
Later in the afternoon, we head to Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta region.
Check into your hotel in Can Tho. The evening is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.
Dinner is on your own.
Start your day early by boarding a boat to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market.
The market is at its most vibrant in the early hours. Witness the hustle and bustle of countless boats selling fruits, vegetables, and various local products.
During your boat tour, you can make a pit stop at one of the boats selling vermicelli and coffee for an optional local breakfast on the water.
Our tour continues to a Rice Noodle Factory.
Here, you can witness the traditional, fascinating process of how rice noodles are made by hand.
We’ll also take some time to explore a bustling local market on land, where colorful stalls are brimming with fresh produce, spices, and vegetables. After the morning's activities, we return to your hotel for check-out and to enjoy Breakfast.
After freshening up, we begin our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City.
En route, we will make a special stop at the 10 Vo ancient house.
Explore this historic Vietnamese house, learn about its architectural details, and gain insights into local traditions.
Here, you will also have a hands-on experience trying to make traditional Vietnamese pancakes, known as "bánh xèo."
Lunch
will be a delicious local meal served at the ancient house.
If you have the energy, you can also take a leisurely bike ride around the area to explore the picturesque surroundings.
After a full day of exploration, we make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City.
You will be dropped off in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, concluding your immersive Mekong Delta adventure.
