Pick-up at Dong Hoi Train Station, have breakfast at Dong Hoi city and then transfer to visit Phong Nha Cave (45km – 1 hours). Phong Nha Cave is known as the “First Cave Wonder” of Vietnam. It has the longest underground river in the world and a system of stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes. From the Phong Nha Tourism Center, visitors take a 4-km boat ride along the Son River to reach Phong Nha Cave. Along the boat ride, visitors can admire the mountain scenery and the rice and corn fields from afar. All is in the peace of Phong Nha Village. The boat will take visitors deep inside the cave from the entrance. Visitors will be overwhelmed by the magnificent scenery. Over millions of years, nature created countless stalactites and stalagmites with magical shapes. Visit the cave and learn about the cave’s formation with the tour guide. After a short break at the exit, visitors board the boat and return to the Phong Nha Tourism Center. Having lunch at a restaurant and enjoy local specialties. After that, visitors will go to Chay Lap Farmstay (15km – 20 mins) - Nestled at the entrance to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, our farmstay offers a private, comfortable retreat on a 1.8-hectare eco-friendly property. Visitor will check into the rooms and relax. Get ready for a 4-hour cycling journey in the afternoon that will take you to explore some beautiful villages in the spectacular landscapes of Phong Nha! From Chay Lap Farmstay, visitors will see the rustic beauty of the villages by bike. Here, you can hear the crisp laughter of children from everywhere. The simple life of the villagers will make you feel calm and relaxed. Stopping at Bau Sen Church, the tour guide will share stories about local customs and culture. This offers interesting knowledge about the region. The next destination is the picturesque Thanh Sen Bridge. From here, visitors will explore Tram Village, which is 3km away, where you will experience the peaceful life of the local people. The journey continues to take you along the romantic Chay River. Weaving through the Tram Village, you will reach the ferry dock of Ong Tham. Ong Tham has been riding the ferry for over 30 years. This ferry is important in connecting Tram and Me Villages with the outside world. This allows people here to go to school and work. Continue the 5km journey through Chay Village and Me Village. Admire the Tram Me Bridge across the river before returning to Chay Lap Farmstay. A bicycle trip to explore the countryside will bring you moments of relaxation. Escape the chaos of daily life to immerse yourself in the vivid natural scenery. After a day of exploring the local area, visitors can relax with a delicious dinner in the cozy ambiance of Chay Lap Restaurant. Afterwards, they can retire to their comfortable rooms at Chay Lap Farmstay.

Guide will meet visitors at Chày Lập Farmstay and escort to Chay Lap Riversider. Visitors can experience a 3km kayaking trip to Chay River-Dark Cave. This journey has a moderate duration but is rich in experiences and adventures. From Chay Lap Riverside, visitors row down the Chay River towards Dark Cave. Along the journey, you can admire the peaceful scenery and glance at the lives of local people along the river. You can also see the corn and peanut fields on the riverbanks and the rolling mountains of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The beauty of the Chay River, with its emerald water, is enough to captivate any nature lover. The journey’s destination is Dark Cave, with its entrance facing the Chay River. It is also near the northern entrance of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Dark Cave is the best destination for those looking to explore caves with exciting activities. Adventurous visitors can choose to slide a 400-m zipline with a height of 10 meters to the entrance of Dark Cave. You can also kayak on the emerald Chay River to reach the cave entrance. Visitors are equipped with helmets and headlamps to explore Dark Cave and experience mud bathing. The stalactites in Dark Cave are not as majestic and diverse as those in other caves. However, these are ancient stalactites, most typical of the geology in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. After Dark Cave, experience exciting activities like mini zipline swings and water slides. All is in the cool water of the Chay River.The tour lasts about 6 hours. The starting time is flexible, according to your schedule. Following a delightful lunch of local cuisine at the Dark Cave restaurant, visitors can opt for an exciting kayaking adventure or a relaxing vehicle ride back to Chay Lap Farmstay. The journey will continue with a transfer to Hue.
